Bernie Baum is 33 years old and lives in Richview, Illinois with his wife Misty and son Brady who is 8 years old...

Bernie runs the #14 street stock with a Beckham and Baum custom made chassi..He runs a #383 engine...
The reason behind his number.....it is his sons birthday..

The racetrack he calls his hometrack is now Clay County... it was Mt. Vernon...HIs favorite track to run was Mt Vernon...

Bernie started racing three years ago in the street stock division...

When asked what had inspired him to start racing he said that he just alway liked it since he was a kid... He said that his dad raced a bomber at Bellville when he was a kid...

To be a good driver he says you need patience...

His goal in racing is just to hae fun... it is a hobby for him..

The driver he considers his toughest competitor is Darrel Beckham...

Bernie likes to race the low groove on a tacky track..

His Crew Chief is Darrell Beckham..
Crew Members are his wife Misty, Ed and Brady...
