Chad claims Highland, Illinois as his hometrack...His favorite track to run is Eldora...
He started racing at age 16 in a go cart...
In 1999, ten years ago....he started racing modifieds...
When asked what had inspired him to start racing he told me that he had always wanted to do it....
The driver he most admires is TONY STEWART
The driver he feels is his toughest competitor: MIKE HARRISON
Chad says to be a good driver he feels you need to be smooth ...and RACE CLEAN....
His goal in racing is to be able to race until his kids are old enough to start racing...
I asked him if there was anything in racing he felt needed changed..... He told me he feels there are too many classes..... also added that some tracks also run to many classes in one night making the night to long for the fans....
A racing highlight for Chad was winning a Regional Championship....and...when his boy won his first quarter midget race...
