Will Krup is 18 years old and lives in Mt Carmel, Illinois...
He runs the #K9 modified with a Larry Shaw chassi and a spec engine...
I asked if he had a reason behind the number.....he said #9 is the number he has always used...
He considers Clay County Speedway his hometrack.... His favorite track to run is Tri State, Haubstadt, Indiana...
Will started racing go carts at age 7...
He started racing modifieds in 2008....
When asked what had inspired him to start racing he told me his dad Will....
The driver he most admires is KYLE BUSCH..
The driver he says has been his toughest competitor EVERETT BRADHAM..
To be a good driver he says you need to be consistent...
His goal in racing is to hopefully one day get a shot at Nascar...
A racing highlight for Will was winning his first heat race the last weekend of racing at Clay County Speedway last season...
He likes to race the high groove on a tacky track....
