Chris Cobin is 26 years old and lives in DuQuoin, Illinois.. Chris is single...
He runs the #2c modified with a Pierce Chassi and a Mullins Engine...
The reason behind his #2c....he has been a Rusty Wallace fan from the time he started walking ....and the "c" came from his name...
Chris claims Clay County as his hometrack ... His favorite track to run is DuQuoin Mile....
He started his racing career at age 21 in a modified.....
His inspiration to start racing he said was from his dad Mike and his Uncle Johnny...He said they had talked about starting a race team and with Chris racing the car...before that became a reality his Uncle Johnny passed away..... Chris and his dad Mike went ahead with the plans in honor of Johnny...
The driver he most admires is TONY STEWART...
The driver he says has been his toughest competitor ...MATT MEVERT...
To be a good driver Chris says you have to have patience....
His goal in racing is to always be competitive in what he does....
Anything in racing he feels needs changed: he said the amount of money it takes to do it....
A Racing Highlight for him was winning the Track Championship in 2007 and was Rookie of the year in 2003 at Benton, Missouri...
He likes to run the low groove on a tacky track....
His Crew Chief is his dad Mike
Crew Member is his mom Donna.....
Chris wanted to give a special thanks to him mom Donna and dad Mike...He said without them he would not be able to do it.....
