Well.. it had been a while since I had been to Clay County Speedway... it was great being there....
Talked with Margene for a while...she is now in the ticket booth and out of the concession....was nice to see her...
We got our seats in the bleachers and I decided to eat before I headed to the pit area....my hubby kept telling me that I better get down there if I wanted to do some interviews cause it was going to R............ I just love when he tells me that...

Before heading to the pits I talked with Jim the announcer and took a couple of pics of pit area from bleachers:

This little girl come running up the bleachers to say hello...she is so cute and looks like her mom Sandy Shaw...

As I was headed for the pit area this cute little girl was having fun with her hula hoop...and she sure was good at it.... she walked down the path in front of grandstand all the time working her little hips and keeping that hula hoop going... Her name was Amber Bone, daughter of Jimmy Bone,jr #71 hornet driver.... she told me she had been in a hula hoop contest and won... she kept that hula hoop going for one and a half hours....wow !!!!

As I was walking to the pit area I ran into Lynn Losh and Timmy Snelling... as we were talking Jimmy Bone,jr introduced himself.... I walked to Bone's pit area and got an interview and took a picture of his car...

I ran into that cute #22 modified driver walker over to check out the track..

When I was signing in today I saw the #2c pull in and was hoping that was Chris Cobin... I have wanted to interview this kid for a while...seems wherever they are I am not...we just kept missing one another.... I am so glad I got to meet him and his mom..

Nice to talk with Jeff Greenwood... he and his group are always very friendly... I was so hot and they offered me a drink... boy did that help.... thanks so much guys...

Well the guys started heading out for their hot laps and I took some pictures of the cars ...........looked like it was going to be a good night of racing !!!!
Headed to the bleachers ...got set down and watched the lightning and the clouds rolling in.........
They stopped the racing because of lightning...was going to see if it would pass over..but...it didn't...we drove all the way home in the rain... I AM SO SICK OF THIS RAIN....
