Scott Weir is 24 years old and is single... He lives in Marion, Illinois

He runs the #5 sprint with a DRC chassi and a Claxton (mopar) engine...
When asked if there was a reason behind his #5 he answered with "who knows"...

He considers no track his hometrack and he claims none as his favorite...

He told me he started racing at age 8 in a go cart.....

Went into a sprint at age 18..

I asked Scott what had inspired him to start racing he told me he didn't have anything better to do...

The driver he most admires is DAVE DARLAND

When asked who his toughest competitor had been he said whoever is here at the time... His Car Chief said Scott was his own worse enemy....

I asked him if he had a goal in racing and he answered with "nope"...

I asked which he liked...the high groove or the low groove.... He told me whatever was faster....
Racing a dry slick track or a tacky track.... he said he liked it in the middle....

He is his own Crew Chief...

Crew members are Jason Myers and Matt Johnson...
