Casey Riggs is 20 years old and single... He lives in Shelbyville, Indiana..
He runs the #37 sprint with a Maxim chassi and a Foxco Engine (Charlie Fisher)..
Said the #37 was a family number...
Casey claims North Vernon , Indiana as his hometrack as well as his favorite ...
He started racing at age seven in quarter midgets...From age ten to thirteen he raced go carts...and then for a year and a half he raced dirtbikes and four wheelers..
At age 18 he went into the sprint division..
When I asked Casey what inspired him to start racing he told me he was to nice to steal and to lazy to work..... (*** Casey has a very witty personality..fun to talk with)
He then added the real reason he went into racing was because their fast and he has a love addiction for them...
The driver he most admires is TRACY HINES
When asked who his toughest competitor was he told me anyone who beats him...
To be a good driver he says you have to have talent...and you need to have patience....
His goal in racing is to go as far as his talent will allow him...
A highlight for Casey was being able to set fast time his first time out in a focus midget and broke the track record at Irwindale, California during "Turkey Night"...
He likes to race the low groove on a dry slick track...
HIs Crew Chief is Mike Dutcher
He wanted to give a special thanks to his dad Terry Rigg and to his Crew Chief Mike for getting the car fast....and to his sponsors...
Casey...thanks for the interview... you were a lot of fun to interview.. keep your sense of humor....goodluck in 2009...
