AJ Anderson is 30 years and single...
He lives in Stateline, Indiana
He runs the #34 sprint with a DRC chassi and a Stanton Engine...
He said that he uses the #34 because he was a big fan of Wendel Scott's..(nascar)
AJ claims Vermillion County Speedway as his hometrack.... His favorite track to run is Tri State in Haubstadt, Indiana...
AJ started his racing career at Danville, Illinois in the street stock division
where he raced for a year and a half
He started racing sprints at age 17...
When I asked him what had inspired him to start racing....he told me he had been around it all his life...said his dad Jim Anderson raced sprints, midgets, late models and modified>>His dad had started racing in 1972..
The driver that AJ most admires is DAVE DARLAND AND TONY ELLIOTT
The driver he says is his toughest competition .. DAVE DARLAND
To be a good driver he says you have to have a good head on your shoulders...
A goal for AJ he says is to do the best that he can...
When asked if there was anything in racing he felt needed changed... he like so many said the cost and they need to pay more...
A racing highlight for him was when he won a race during the INDIANA SPRINT WEEK in Bloomington, Indiana..
When asked where he liked to race...the high groove or the low groove he told me wherever it worked....
He does like to race a dry slick track....
His crew consists of himself and his dad Jim..
