Ed Lahey is 40 years old and lives in Rossville, Illinois with his wife Paula and their children Matthew and Caleb...

Ed runs the #10c with a Ratman Fabrications Chassi and a Chevy engine
I asked if there was a reason behind the number...he told me the C stands for Caleb...

He considers Vermillion County his hometrack..
When asked what his favorite track was he told me he really liked all the tracks but he guessed he would say Eldora being his favorite...

He started racing street stocks in 1992....

He said he was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and would say that is what inspired him to start racing...

The driver he most admires: you got it.... DALE EARNHARDT, SR..
and TONY STEWART.....
He says that SCOTT DUNLAP has been his toughest competitor..

To be a good driver he said you have to have adaptibility... you have to know when to be aggressive and you have to be patient...

His goal in racing is to win a track championship...

Racing Highlight for him was winning the Kokomo Clash in 2008 in the sportsman division..

When asked whether he liked the high or the low groove he told me that he likes running the high groove but the low groove is the one that works...
He likes to race both the dry slick and the tacky tracks..

His Crew Chief is his wife Paula and his son Caleb is a Crew Member...
