Josh Spencer is 23 years old and lives in Kokomo, Indiana
He runs the #56 sprint with a Chalk Chassi and a Jeff Claxton engine..
The car # is the car owner's number..Mark Balcheldor....Josh also runs the #66 sprint which is his own...
Josh considers Kokomo, Indiana as his hometrack... His favorite track to run is Eldora......
He started his racing career at age 8 in quarter midgets...
At age 17 he went into the sprint...
His inspiration for racing came from his Grandpa Chuck Spencer... His grandpa owned sprint cars...
When asked what driver he most admired he told me he admired a lot of them but to name one it would have to be DAVE DARLAND...
His toughest competiotr: "all of them"....
To be a good driver he says you need to have patience....... and.... you need money.......
A goal in racing is to be able to succeed.....
Racing highlight for Josh was winning the Vince Osman Award, the HARF Sportsman Award and winning the Rich Vogler Schlarship....
When asked if he liked the high or low groove he answered with: "wherever the aren't"....
He does like to race a tacky track...
His crew consists of s his dad Jerry Spencer and the car owner Mark Balcheldor.................
