Steve Nolen, Jr is 31 years old and lives in Potomac, Illinois with his wife Michelle .
He has two children: Levi who is one and a half and Sarah who is thirteen...
He runs the #66 modified with a Dirtworks Chassi and a 377 racing engine..
The reason behind his number: He said that is the number is dad used when he raced...passed it down to him.....
He considers Vermillion County as his hometrack and also his favorite track to run...........
He started his racing career in the street stock in 2001 ...
This is his first year (2009) in the modified..... tonight will be his third time driving his modified....
The inspiration for him to start racing came from his family...
The driver he most admires: SHANNON BABB
The driver he feels has been his toughest competitor: JARED KRICK in street stock...I told him I would come back to him next year to find who his toughest was in modified...
To be a good driver Steve says you have to have knowledge.....and MONEY....
His goal in racing is just to make the feature...
A racing highlight for Steve was when he won his first feature... It was at Vermillion County in 2006..
Steve likes to run the middle groove on a dry slick track..
His Crew Chief is his dad Steve Nolen...
Steve wanted to give a special thanks to all his friends and family who support him..and to all of his sponsors....
