Bobby Pierce is 12 years old..... yes.... I did say 12 years old.... he told me he is single and has no
kids.... He is known as the "SHORT COOL ONE" and the namesake of "THE TALL COOL ONE" Bob Pierce....
Bobby lives in Oakwood, Illinois with his mom and dad Angie and Bob Pierce and sister Ciara...
He runs the #32 crate late model with a Pierce Chassi and a #602 crate engine...
And without asking we know his number originated with his dad who ran the #32 late model.... I will have to ask Bob where he got the number from...
Bobby claims Vermillion County as his hometrack and also his favorite to run....
Bobby started his racing career at age 8 in quarter midgets and then into a kids Modz at age 11...he went into the crate late model this year...(2009).
Where did he get his inspiration to race............from his dad Bob...
I asked Bobby what he thought it took to be a good driver....he told me to be "SMOOTH".....
His goal in racing is to one day win the World 100.................and I hope I am there when he does it.........
The driver he most admires: his dad BOB PIERCE...
The driver he feels is his toughest competitor is RANDY SHUMAN....
A racing highlight for him so far is winning the points championship in the Kids Modz division....
Bobby likes to race the low groove on a dry slick track....
He said his Crew consists of his dad Bob, his mom Angie, his sister Ciara and his friends.....
He wanted to give a special thanks to his mom, dad and siter and friends for all their help... also to Peterson Aluminum and to Murphy Trucking...
Bobby ... it was really nice talking with you... You are quite the gentleman at such a young age.... you are calm cool and collected for a twelve year old....
I felt you really had big shoes to fill following your dad into racing.... but after talking with you..... you will not have any trouble ....
