Mitch started his racing career at age 7 in a quarter midget..

He started racing a sprint in year 2002...

I asked what had inspired him to start racing.... He said his dad and... he had been around racing all his life...

To be a good driver Mitch said you need to have a knowledge and understanding of your car....you have to know your car before you can go fast....

His goal in racing is to win as many races as he can...

His toughest competitor is his brother Kyle....

When asked if there was anything in racing he felt needed changing he told me the cost of racing a sprint needs to be lowered or the purse needs to be raised...

a racing highlight was winning the Rookie of the Year his first year in a sprint and winning the MSCS Championship Series...

He said he doesn't care whether he races a dry slick or a tacky track but he does like to run the high groove...
