Jon Stanbrough is 41 years old and lives in Avon , Indiana...
He has a daughter Britney...
He runs the #53 Sprint with a J J Auto Racing Chassi and a FoxCo Engine...
He started racing at age 12 in a quarter midget...
He started racing sprints at age 18 years old.....
I asked Jon what had inspired him to start racing... He told me he really had not thought much about it until after him , his sister and family attended a quarter midget race.. He enjoyed it and decided he would like to try it...
To be a good driver . he told me it takes a lot of focus and. concentration.....and...you need to be respectful....
The driver that he most admires is : LELAND MICSAPPAND ( spelling ????)
Jon told me he considers SHANE COTTLE his toughest competitor...
When I asked if he had a goal he told me that he had already met all his goals... Now he is racing to have fun and to win what he can...
A racing highlight for him was winning the Tony Hulman Classic twice....
Jon says it doesn't matter whether he races the high groove or the low groove...he like them both... He also doesn't care whether he races on a tacky track or a dry slick track..

Well Jon... it took me two times to catch up with you... It was well worth it...Very glad I got to meet the "Jon Stanbrough"....
