Butch Weisser is 38 years old and lives in Peoria, Illinois..
He runs the #25 modified with a Kraft Chassi and a Sputz Engine... The reason behind the #25 on his car...that is his birthday...
Butch claims Spoon River as his hometrack.. HIs favorite track to run is Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, Kentucky.
He started racing at age 31 and in the modified division...
I asked Butch what had inspired him to start racing..... he told me he had a buddy that raced and he decided he wanted to try it...
The driver he most admires is TONY STEWART....
The driver he deems his toughest competitor: GARY COOK,JR
To be a good driver Butch says you have to have a lot of patience......
His goal in racing is just to have fun and be happy doing it...
I asked if there was anything in racing he feels needed changing... He told me that he was pretty well satisfied..
A Racing Highlight that stands out for him was when he won the Miller Lite 100 in Peoria, Il....
When asked which he preferred...high or low groove..... he told me he likes the middle....
When I asked which he liked to race on the best....dry slick or tacky.....he told me he likes it in between....
He has no Crew Chief other then himself
Team members are Fireball and Kid Rock....
He wanted to give a special thanks out to his mom Joan and his dad Art...
