Rebecca Mae Bell, 61, of Olney, died at 5:06 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2009, at her residence.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

Mrs. Bell was born on April 20, 1947, in Olney, the daughter of Charles and Inez (Tucker) Wagner. She married Joseph Bell on December 16, 1965. He survives.

She worked in dietary at Burgin Manor.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband, Joseph Bell, of Olney; daughter, Annie Weiler and her husband, Melvin, of West Liberty; daughter, Patricia Bell, of Olney; son, Joseph Bell Jr. and his wife, Dana, of Dundas; brother, Ted Wagner, of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Bill Smith, of Midland, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shawn Bell; brothers, Tony and Jack; and granddaughter, Samantha.

I just seen Rebecca at Mark Bare's 50th birthday party....
What a shock to get a call from Dennis Waggle telling me of her passing.........

I remember when I first met her back in 2002.... we met at the Clay County Speedway. Her and her husband and me and my husband always set at the very top of the bleachers.... She was a avid Everett Bradham fan and I a Chad Kinder fan.... We always yelled against one another and one day she said to me... "you know I like Chad Kinder too don't you" and I laughed and said and I like Everett Bradham too"... from that day on we always talked when we would meet ... She was a super lady and always had a smile on her face....

She will leave a void in many people's lives........ I know I will miss her friendship..
