ICEBREAKER
BROWNSTOWN, IN
MARCH 21,2009
Bart Hartman is 40 years old and lives in Zanesville, Ohio
He runs the #75 late model with a Rocket Chassi and a Kornet Racing Engine..
The number #75 on his car was the same number his dad Butch ran when he raced...
He has no favorite track to run but considers Muskegan or Midway Speedway in Ohio his hometracks....
Bart told me he started his racing career at age 21 and started out in the late model division...
HIs inspiration to become a racecar driver came from his dad Butch Hartman who had raced late model as well..... Bart had been around racing all his life it seems...
The driver that he most admires......His dad....BUTCH HARTMAN
When asked who his toughest competitor has been he told me that there was new ones every day.....and that sometimes his toughest competitor was himself...
Bart feels to be a good driver you need consistency and patience...
His goal in racing is to try to be as successful as he can be...
Racing highlight for him is anytime he said that he has an opportunity to go for the win..
When asked if he preferred the high or the low groove he told me he races wherever he needs to be...
He does however like to race a dry slick track better then a tacky track...
Crew Chief for Bart is AUSTIN HARGROVE
Bart said he would like to give a big thanks out to his family, friends and to his sponsors....
Bart...thankyou so much for the interview...Was nice to meet you.... I have watched you race several times.... goodluck in 2009..
