KLMS MARCH MADNESS
MARCH 7TH, 2009

Steve Bigley is 42 years old and lives in Coolville, Ohio with significant other Michelle...He has a daughter Krista..

Steve runs the #33 Late Model with a Rocket Chassi and a Billy Loyd Engine..
The #33 stands for 33 Auto Sales....

Steve considers Skyline Speedway in Ohio as his hometrack as well as his favorite track to run...

He told me he started racing at age 19 in the street stock division.. He went into the late model division just last year... He has only raced so far about ten races..

When asked how he got involved in racing he told me that he had been around it all his life.... Said that his dad was also a car owner while growing up...

The driver that he most admires is Bob Adams, jr

The driver he deems his toughest competitor..... he laughed and said "all of them"...

Steve says he feels to be a good driver you have to have PATIENCE...

His goal in racing is just to have fun....

He like most of his fellow drivers feels the thing that most needs to be changed in racing is the cost........but..... like he said..... there is no solution and especially not right now...

Racing highlights that stand out for him was winning the last two years the Brick Dirt Nationals in North Carolina in the street stock division..and in 2003 finishing 3rd at Murdock, South Carolina and earning $4000...

Steve likes to race the low groove on a dry slick track...

HIs crew chief is his dad Bob Bigley and team members include Ed Gillians, Doug Metcalf and Moon Dog..

Steve said he wanted to give a special thanks out to Ed Gillians and to Scott Riggs..

Thankyou very much Steve for the interview.. Was nice meeting you... Goodluck in season 09....
