Hey CJ, this is Tyler Blankenship, got a neat story for you. A couple months ago a guy called me interested in a street stock, i thought he was interested in my old car but he wanted one race ready, so i give him nighthawks number and told him to give them a call and they can set you up...i said my cars to good of a car to sell!!! Well a couple months go by and i get this itch to go modified racing, i called this guy back and told him a price and he said ok, i'll come to look at it, he checked it out, liked what he seen and a couple days later said he wants it, but he wanted me to get a car first before he bought this car that away i would have a car for the 2009 season. I started calling around to different modifieds for sale and called a guy down by the mt. vernon area that just had a pic of a turn key modified, i knew nothing about it and called. first thing he said it is a dirtworks copy, built by nighthawk racecars in 04! turns out it is my dads last car and he had to say nomore, i knew more about it than he did... I couldn't pass it up and now i am buying back what i let him get rid of in 04. It still smells like him.lol... I still have his old shoes and it has the same gas pedal, so if the ware matches the shoes to the pedals then i can just close my eyes and go! Yeah i know the car is a little outdated but its still ingreat shape bc noone has really raced it much, let alone touch it! still have most of his parts that he put on the car... only thing different is that it has an orange body and a bigger engine! Long story short the 3B modified will be back...and im excited about it...nobody wanted to see that SS go but couldn't pass up this opportunity.
Now i have my work cut out to get this car figured out so i don't look silly in a winning racecar!
