Michael Asberry is 27 years old and lives in Crossville, Tennessee ..
He runs the #360 modified with a Fast Lane Chassi and a custom built engine..
He claims Crossville as his hometrack and also his favorite to run...
The reason behind his #360......he said he was always a #3 when he raced go carts.... but said he had to add numbers when he got into modified because there were already a lot of 3's....
Michael started his racing career at age 5 in go carts.....
Went into a modified at the age of 13.....
I asked what had inspired him to start racing.... He told me that his dad Charles Asberry had raced a modified so he had been raised around racing...
The driver that he most admires: DALE EARNHARDT,JR
The driver that he deems his toughest competitor: JIMMY OWENS....
To be a good driver Michael says you need to be smooth....
HIs goal in racing is to win...
Racing highlights for Michael is any time that he starts in the back of the pack and wins....
When asked which he preferred: high groove or low groove... he told me whichever is better at the time...
Dry slick or tacky.... He says he likes both...
