He started racing sprints in 1999...
I asked Shawn what had inspired him to start racing... He told me his dad had raced ..... ED KROCKENBERGER.....
The driver he most admires DALE EARNHARDT,SR
When asked who his toughest competitor was: he told me "himself"...
To be a good driver he feels you need good equipment and you have to have patience...
His goal in racing is to win races...
A racing highlight for Shawn is anytime he gets a win and his 13 championships in go carts....
Shawn likes to race the high groove on a tacky track....
