Jim Haager is 50 years old and lives in Richmond, Indiana with his wife Diane..They have twin sons Billy and Jimmy..

Jim runs the #16 modified with a Tomahawk Racing chassi and a Dargie Engine..

Jim claims Union County Speedway as his hometrack as well as his favorite to run...

He started his racing career at age 16 racing in motorcross and also go carts...
He started racing a modified about twelve years ago...1996...

He said he was inspired to start racing by his father Pete Haager...

The driver Jim most admires is MARK MARTIN

The driver he deems his toughest competitor DARYL HERBERT

Jim feels to be a good driver you have to have LUCK riding with you..

Racing goal for jim is to win tonights race THE BIG DAWG...

A racing highlight that stands out for him was winning the Pepsi Challenge in 1989 or 1990 at Union County Speedway...

Jim likes to race the high groove on a dry slick track..
