He says that the # is his dads but they switch back n forth...
Christain claims Union County Speedway as his hometrack... His favorite track to run is East Bay in Florida...
He started his racing career at the early age of 11 and did not mess around.. He went right into a late model....
There is no secret behind what inspired him to start racing... His dad is the infamous CJ RAYBURN...... late model driver and chassi builder....
Building race cars is their family business...
The driver that Christain most admires is JEFF PERVIS
The driver he feels is his toughest competitor DERIK FISHER
To be a good driver he feels you need to have consistency...
Christain's goal in racing it to one day win WORLD OF OUTLAWS
Anything in racing he feels needs to be changed... He said the tire rules....the rules need to be consistent at all tracks and at all series....
A racing highlight that stands out for him was winning the Lawrenceburg Fun Fest two years in a row...
Christain likes to race the high groove on a tacky track...

I have to tell you how I met Christain.... I have been trying to get an interview with him for a while and keep missing him as I have his dad CJ....
Well... I was interviewing Toby Hallett and a kid comes up and tells me I need to get an interview with Christain Rayburn... I asked if he was here and he said yeah..that kid right there.... well they both went back and forth telling me each that the other one was Christain.......... meanwhile I finished my interview with Toby and during that time the REAL CHRISTAIN had disappeared
..On sunday when I was heading to the car I ran into Christain again and he graciously gave me an interview.... I wish I had taken a picture of the three amigoes "Christain, Chris and Toby"....
Christain... you were a lot of fun to talk with... goodluck with your season and I hope to catch you again..
