Toby Hallett is 31 years old and lives in Homer, Illinois with his wife Natalie and children Aubrey and Jacob..

Toby runs the #1c crate late model with a CJ Rayburn chassi and a #604 crate engine..

He claims Brownstown, Indiana as his hometrack... His favorite track to run is Farmer City, Il and Wheatland, In.

Toby started his racing career this year in the crate late model division..

I asked what had inspired him to start racing... He told me he had been around it since about the age of 13... He said his Uncle Chuck and Aunt Sharon took him to his first race and loved it ever since...

The driver he most admires: BILLY MOYER

His toughest competitor has been: BRIAN BERNHART

Toby feels to be a good driver you need patience and a lot of good help...

His goal in racing for tonight is to run in the top ten..

When asked if there was anything in racing he feels needs to be changed...... He said the cheating....it is getting out of control......

A racing highlight for him was when he finished in the top five for the first time at Grennburg, Indiana... He started in 16th and worked all the way up to five...

He likes to race the high groove and a dry slick track...
