Eric runs the #95 hornet that has the "lightning McQueen color scheme..." It is a honda with a 2.0 engine...
Eric says that Charleston Speedway is his hometrack and also his favorite track to run....
Eric told me that he started racing at age 31 and in the hornet class...
I asked what had inspired him to start racing... He told me it was his friends... ***and David Shain** who is a good friend...
Eric feels to be a good driver you need patience...
The driver that he most admires is" DAVID SHAIN
The driver he feels is his toughest competitor: CHUCK MARTIN #7X
His goal in racing is to finish in the top five in points at Charleston this year..
When asked if he felt there was anything in racing that needed changing..... he told me he feels there needs to be tighter rules in the hornet class...
A racing highlight that stands out for him was winning the feature two weeks ago at Charleston.
Eric likes to run the high groove to the middle and on a dry slick track..
