Daryl Hellman is 18 years old and lives in Ashmore, Illinois...
He runs the #16H street stock... It is a Camaro with a 383 Stroker engine
Charleston is Daryl's hometrack...but his favorite to run is Vermilion County Speedway in Danville, Illinois.
Daryl started his racing career at age 16 in the hornet division.... He went into a street stock at age 17.
He got his inspiration to start racing from his dad Darrell...Darrell also races in the street stock division.... I was going to interview him but when I was finished with Daryl he was busy.... I will try to get him next time...

His toughest competitor so far has been: JOSH SMYSER
To be a good driver Daryl says you need to know when to be aggressive...
His goal in racing is to win a race.....
Well Daryl I hope I am at that race when you do win.......but meeting you.... I can tell you right now........"you are a winner with that personality"....don't lose it...
Daryl is still looking for that racing highlight.......but watch for him.... he will get it ....
He likes to race the high groove on a dry slick track..
