He runs the #JL3 hornet .. It is a Ford Escort with a 1.8 engine...
The reason behind the #JL3..........the JL stands for his name...the #3 is for Dale Earnhardt,Sr.
Jesse claims Charleston as his hometrack and also his favorite track...
He told me that he started racing at age 19 and in the hornet division..
I asked him what had inspired him to start racing.. He told me that he was racing in demolition derby's and didn't think it was enough fun so started racing dirt track...
The driver he most admires: DALE EARNHARDT, SR
The driver he feels is his toughest competitor: JIM CROSS,JR
He feels to be a good driver you need to be smooth and you need to be consistant...
A goal for Jesse is to win a feature race.... He said he has 30 second place finishes..... it is time for a feature win... Hang in there Jesse... you will get your win...
A racing highlight for Jesse was winning the Hornet Track Championship in 2003......
He likes to run the high groove now after preferring the low groove for a long time.... He also likes to run on a dry slick track....
