AUGUST 1 AND 2, 2008

HERITAGE 101

Steven Partin is 11 years old and is the son of Tom and Melissa Partin, owners of Brushcreek Motorspeedway... They live in Peebles, Ohio........**right up on the hill at the track*** BIG HILL......... smile.gif

Steven runs the #71 Legend Car with a motorcycle engine..
The #71 came on the car when they bought it...

His hometrack is Brushcreek and his favorite to run is also Brushcreek Motorspeedway....

Steve started racing at the early age of 8 in go carts... He went into the Legend Cars last year..2007...

I asked Steven what had inspired him to start racing..... He grinned and said , "my dad...he owns the track..."

The driver that Steven most admires is STEVE ARPIN
His toughtest competitor has been his dad TOM PARTIN

To be a good driver Steven said "you can't let them get in your head"....

HIs goal in racing is to one day get the chance to race Nascar....

A racing highlight for Steven was getting his first heat race win two weeks ago...

He likes to run the high groove on a tacky track..

HIs Crew Chief's are his dad Tom and the driver of the John Deere Legend Car Matt Nichols..
He says his mom Melissa is also part of his team..

Steven wanted to give a big thanks out to his mom Melissa and his dad Tom...

Steven...was really nice to meet you.... I got to meet your mom but never ran into your dad... He was a very busy man....
I have a feeling we will be seeing your name around the racing scene alot...and would not surprise me to one day see it in Nascar...
