Chris Hall is 32 years old and lives in Sikston, Missouri with his wife Jennifer and two daughters Elizabeth and Kaylee..
Chris runs the #66 crate late model with a CJ Rayburn chassi and a 602 crate engine...
He considers Malden, Missouri as his hometrack but his favorite to run is in Benton, Missouri.
I asked Chris what had inspired him to start racing.... he told me he has a family history in racing... His grandpa , Jim Hall raced anything with wheels on it and his dad was the chief machanic....
And Todd Hall , the #99 ...... is his cousin...
He started racing at age 17 in the IMCA division..
Last year was his first year in a crate..
The driver he most admires: JEFF GORDON...
The driver he feels is his toughest competitor...Todd Hall and Billy James....says he races with them pretty regular and they are tough...
I asked Chris what he thought it took to be a good driver....He told me it takes a lot of time and patience.....LOTS OF EXPERIENCE....
His goal this year is running for the points in the Fastrak Touring Series...
I asked him if there was anything in racing he thinks needs to be changed... he told me not in the crate division...
Racing highlights for him was winning a couple of track championship in the modified division...
He told me that he did not care whether he raced the high groove or the low groove... you will find him wherever it is best..
He does like a tacky track....
