Justin is 18 years old and lives in Charleston, Illinois..
He runs the #62j Hornet...............It is a Ford Prob and has a 2.0 engine...
The reason for his #62j.....the #62 was the number his dad Mike Watson used when he raced....and Justin added the j..
Justin claims Charleston Speedway as his hometrack and also his favorite to run.... only one he has raced...
He told me he started his racing career at age 15 in the hornet division....
He said he was inspired to start racing because as a kid he would go to the races with his dad and he saw how much fun it was and wanted to be a part of it..
The driver Justin most admires is his dad Mike Watson....
The drivers he feels are his toughest competitors are Derek Wenett and Jim Cross,jr..
To be a good driver Justin says it takes track smarts.... hold your own line.......drive your own race....
A goal for Justin in racing is to get a feature win...
Racing highlight for Justin was last year in 07 when he won his first heat race...and in doing so he beat Jim Cross,jr.......
Justin prefers to run the high groove on a tacky track....
