Tim runs the #01 monte carlo street stock..
He said the #01 was on the first car that he ever bought and said that he had a lot of luck with it so he decided to keep it...
He claims Clay County as his hometrack but his favorite to run is the now defunct Red Hill Raceway..
Tim started racing at age 36 in the bombers... he said that he is in and out of racing... says he builds motors and cars and has a lot out on the Clay County speedway that he is responsible for building..
He told me he was inspired to start racing because of his brother Kris...
Drivers that he most admires are Chad Kinder and Mike Boylard........and
Phil Bible who was helping Tim tonight volunteered his name as well....He said his toughest competitor would have to be Tim Feldhake...
To be a good driver he feels you need a lot of patience...........and the drive to win...
A highlight that stands out for him is the time at Red Hill Raceway he started the feature in 9th position and by lap 5 he was in the lead and stayed there til the end winning by a half lap....
Tim likes to race the middle to high groove on a tacky track..
