Jim runs the #00 hornet.. It is a Saturn with a 1.9 engine..
He claims Clay County Speedway as his hometrack and also his favorite to run...
Jim started racing in 1986 in the bomber division...He started racing a hornet in 2006..
I asked him what had inspired him to start racing... He said it was really his dads idea...JIm said he use to race on the roads and his dad thought the track was where he needed to be...
The driver that Jim most admires is CARL EDWARDS...
The driver that is his toughtest competitor is TIMMY SNELLING
JIm feels to be a good driver you need to have patience...
He likes to race the middle of the track and work his way up if needed .. He prefers to race on a dry slick track...
He is his own Crew Chief...
And like all the hornet drivers say.........when they need help they will help each other...
