Rusty Snider is 38 years old and lives in Bingham, Illinois with his wife Emmy.
His hornet is a Ford Prob........his engine is a 2.0
He considered Fayette County Speedway his hometrack but sinc closing he considers it Clay County now..
HIs favorite track to run is Clay County Speedway.... It is just a long way for him to travel..
The reason for his number 79.... that was the year he was born...
He started racing at age 21 in the hornet division... I asked him why he started racing and he said it was what all his friends were doing so he decided to..
When asked what it takes to be a good driver he told me patience..
I asked Rusty if he had a goal in racing.... He said no not really.... its just to finish races...
He doesn't consider anyone a tough competitor.. he just goes out to have fun..
He likes to race the middle of the track on a dry slick track..
He has no Crew Chief other then himself......
