FEDX 50 LATE MODEL RACE
TRI CITY
SEPT 22, 2007

Ryan Little is 27 years old and is single... He lives in Pleasant Plains, Illinois..

Ryan runs the #38 late model with a Rayburn chassi and a ProPower Engine..
The reason for the #38 on Ryan's car..... the #3 stands for the late Dale Earnhardt,Sr and the #8 stands for Dale Earnhardt,jr............*** I asked Ryan if he was going to add an 8 to his number now that Dale will be #88.... he laughed and told me no...

Ryan considers Lincoln as his hometrack and his favorite to run is Tri City...

He started his racing career at age 25 in the sportsman division and went to the late model in 2006...

I asked him what had inspired him to start racing and he told me he had grew up loving it.. he said that him and his brother both served in Iraq and when they got out they started the racubg team together....

Ryan thinks it takes a good team.... a good car and a lot of patience to be a good driver...

His goal in racing is to one day be able to do it full time........

The drivers he most admires is.......... yep.........Dale Earnhardt , Sr and Dale Earnhardt Jr....

His toughest competitor he says is Matt Taylor...

I asked if there was anything in racing that he feels needs to be changed and he said YES.....he said track rules.....they need to be consistent....and ump rules do too....... said you go to one track and when you get spun out by another car you get to keep your spot and the one that spun you out goes to tail....at another track you go to... if you get spun out it doesn't matter..if you stopped on the track whether your fault or not you go to the tail......

Racing highlight that stands out for him is winning his first sportsman feature... It was on "Military Night"

Ryan prefers racing the high groove on a tacky track..

Crew Chief is his brother Eric Little and Team Member is Aaron Nelson..

He wanted to give a special thanks to Aaron, to Eric and to Tim Nations...his mom Karen and his dad Dick...

Thankyou Ryan for the interview.. I enjoyed talking to both you and Aaron... I want to thank you , your brother and Aaron for helping defend our country in Iraq and Afghanstan.... you are appreciated....
hope to run into you again soon and I hope your goal to race full time becomes a reality...
