Mark Thomas is 39 years old and single.. He lives in Cincinnati , Ohio..
He runs the #21t late model with a Rocket Chassi and a Dargie Racing Engine...
**Mark broke his wrist in a racing incident the last of July and has not been racing since...but he is expecting to be back behind the wheel within the next two weeks..... THAT IS GOOD TO HEAR!!! ***
Mark considers Florence Speedway in Ky his hometrack ... His favorite to run is Eldora....
When I asked Mark when he started racing he told me that he had been in drag racing for 25 years before he decided to race the circle track division.... he started that in 2004...
Mark went into the late model this year....
He told me that he got inspired to race because of his dad Callis..... said a friend of his dads and his dad got him interested in it....
Drivers that Mark most admire are Jeff Leka, modified driver #3L and Darrell Lanigan , late model driver #29...
Mark believes to be a good driver you have to have a lot of seat time........and......."patience'....
His goal in racing is to qualify for the World 100....
When I asked who his toughest competitor was he said there are way to many good drivers at Florence to pick just one...
His highlight that stands out for him is the fact that every race he has entered this year in late model....he has made the feature....
Mark does not care whether he races the high groove or the low groove.... he said wherever it is working...He does however like to race a dry slick track...
Jeff Marshall is his Crew Chief and Larry Moreland,jr and Larry Moreland, Sr are crew members...
He said he wanted to give a big thanks to his mom Christine and to his dad Callis...
