Wayne Chinn is 26 years and single... He lives in Tipp City, Ohio
Wayne runs the #1 late model..... he has two chassi's...one is a Rayburn and the other a Rocket...His engine is a Dargie..
He claims no track as his hometrack because he travels all over but his favorite to run is Eldora....
Wayne started his racing career at age 15 in go carts.... Since then he has raced midgets....Silver Crown Cars....and modifieds....
He went into a late model in 2004...
I asked Wayne what had inspired him to start racing..... He told me that he was raised in a racing family...Said his grandfather Wayne had race and also his father Jim....
The driver that Wayne most admires is his grandfather who I take he is named after "Wayne"..
He feels to be a good driver you have to have "patience"..
His goal in racing is to one day be able to race for a living....
When I asked him who his toughest competitor was he told me there were way to many... He says he races at to many different tracks...
I asked Wayne if there was anything he racing he feels needs to be changed.... He said that he would like to see dirt track racing get more advertisment......... needs to make the public more aware of dirt racing..
A racing highlight that stands out for him is winning the UMP Modified Championship in 2003..
Wayne likes to race the high groove on a dry slick track..
HIs crew consists of himself, his dad Jim, Kevin Kauffman, and Jaemie Kessler..
