There were 23 modified....10 CARS....20 street stocks and 25 hornets....there were new cars in every class tonight that I did not know.....

Talked with Tim Murphy, JR Dunlap and Devin McKinney and got into a heated dispute over Jeff Gordon !!!!!
I finally got to meet Mike Perry and got an interview with him.... I wanted to make it back to interview his dad Jason but didn't make it.... hopefully next weekend..... Did Jason drive a modified before the crate........a #7p ????

I found #14.....Timmy Snelling and his dad Tim..... geez...how time flys.... when I first interviewed Timmy he was 14........now he is 18.... what a cutie.........
Went back to the #79 pit area and talked with Jr and his dad........ Lloyd brought me some old pics of Crawford Co for me to add to our collection on here.... thanks so much Lloyd .. I will get them back to you next weekend....
I took Leslie Heddings over by the #22 Kinder pit area so she could get a Kinder shirt....and then went over to her boyfriend Jeff Barker and interviewed him.... I had interviewed him a couple of years ago when he raced super streets....
I also got an interview with Casey Montague who drives the #01 CARS ,,, Mike Bolyard #28 modified and the #71 modified Troy Cannon..... I will get the interviews on tomorrow...
Got to talk with Jay Jones.... was glad to see all his body parts attached after that bad crash last weekend where he was thrown out of the car and it rolled over him... luckily he landed in a ditch and the car went over it..... Jay said he thought he was going to die.... he said his neck was sore as was his ribs and his finger on his left hand is still numb......Jay was a very lucky guy and he is all to aware of that!!!
Been a long time since I had seen Jodie and Heather Brown and Missy Lindeman....was great talking with them again.....they assured me that Marty would not be back to racing....
When I was over by Ray Emling,jr he and crew were very busy.... I never got to make it back to their area.... hopefully next weekend i will catch up with him...

I learned that two of Margene and Richard's daughters are going to have babies this December... one is due on the 21st .Melissa...........and Kim is due on the 29th..... they said they did the same thing ten years ago having their kids 21 hours apart.......and then their other sister Jeneen had her little girl a month later....
Melissa's little girl McKayla was given Chad Kinder's trophy a couple weeks ago when he won there...she got a couple of pictures of Chad this week autographed..
In the modified there were 23 cars...three heats.... winners of the heats were Chad Kinder....Brent Mullins and Brian Shaw...........This was the first night out for the GRT #22s of Chad Kinder's.... he told me he raced the heat with no brakes..........whew!!!
In the feature Kinder and Mullins was on the front row with Shaw and Keyes on second row..third row was Fox and Bolyard, fourth row was Duvall and Adams, fifth row was Claycomb and Stryzinski, sixth row #68 and Jones, seventh row Dedrick and Mehler, eighth row was Anderson and Shamhart, then Long and #20..next was Cannon and Snyder...tail was Milligan..
On the very first lap there was a caution........on restart the #41m of Brent Mullins pulled out to the lead with Chad Kinder on his tail.... the #1 of Brian Shaw was making it a pretty close battle up front with Keyes and Bolyard having their own battle........the #27m of Milligan pulled off the track by lap three...Kinder works his way around the #41m of Mullins but a caution comes out for the #20 and he had to go back to 2nd............. after a couple of laps Chad again takes the lead from Mullins and that is the way it stayed til the finish..........Kinder....Mullins and Shaw...... the #28 of Bolyard took the 4th spot after battling with the #25 of Keyes who took 5th and Shamhart driving the #71x followed over in sixth..
In the CARS heats were won by Nic Lyons and Rylan Dagg........They had a $100 Dash for Cash which was won by the #89 car.....In the feature Rylan started on second row but got out in front by halfway mark passing Nic Lyons and stayed there to the finish... Montague which started on the 3rd row worked his way up to take the 2nd place honors with #89, then Baker, then Winters, then Collins, #9 and then the #30...........
In the street stock the winners of the heats were Tim Feldhake, Jerry Anderson and Josh Griffith..
In the feature Feldhake and Anderson was on front row with Griffith and Dunlap on 2nd row, third was the #75 and McKinney.......Feldhake got out to an early lead but Jerry Anderson gained on him and then took the lead.... JR Dunlap stayed in third for quite a while and then Griffith , Peasley and McKinney got around him.... Jerry Anderson stayed on to take the win and when in winners circle said it had been a while since he had been there...felt good to be back.... Feldhake 2nd, Griffith who had back to back wins at Charleston last weekend took 3rd, Peasley 4th McKinney 5th, and Dunlap 6th...Reinhart, #75 Dugger??, #81, Bible, #43, Lodekee....
In the hornets the winners of the heats were Winebarger, Vandenburg,#11, and Morrison...
In the feature the #30 of Winebarger and the #1x on front row...2nd row the #11 and Morrison,
Steve Morrison won with Timmy Snelling coming up from 8th and gave Morrison a run for his money for that front spot.... and the #30 of Winebarger took 3rd.... good race!!!!
