Boy......... it sure was nice to back at the track !!!!! Have not been to the track since June 2, at Charleston....

Thanks Rick Branaham for coming up to say hello and introducing me to your wife.... Rick said that his son Ryan is doing well and has recently got engaged to his girlfriend Diana Woods... They plan a 2008 August wedding........congratulations to Ryan and Diana.....
Devon McKinney also came up to say hello and later in the evening when I got to the pits he introduced me to his girlfriend Tanya......very pretty young lady !!
Got to talk with Eric the cameraman and Justin Jones the announcer...nice to see them again... Geez...Justin is going to be a senior this year.... he has literly grown up at the track.....
And a pleasant surprise when Carl Welch came up and sit with us.... has been a long time since I had seen this Kinder fan..... he has so many stories to share about racing.... I asked him to write some of them down for me.... I love to hear them.......

The car count was a little low tonight but I am thinking some of it was due to the USAC racing at Haubstadt saturday night...
I was really disappointed in the car count for the CARS.... I really enjoy these cars.....
Chuck Still took the win in CARS after a two lap to go caution.......Glenn Stephens had led the entire feature up to that last caution....

In the modifieds there were 16 cars and two heats.. In heat one Jay JOnes who started on the outsdie front row shot out to an early lead and stayed there til the end.....Chris Moore from Bridgeport took second and Kelly Duvall took 3rd
In heat two Chad got out to a lead starting pole...........before a lap completed the #25 of Keyes come to a stop and after caution was thrown pulled off track.......then came back on........??????
Second caution came out for the #32k of Kris Wilson who lost his tie rod...
Kinder was running the #3p car tonight... he led the race from start to finish with Boylard coming from 5th to take second and Brent Mullins crossed over 3rd coming from 6th...
In the feature Jay jones was on the pole with Kinder on outside front row...Moore and Boylard on second row, third row was Duval and Mullins, 4th row was Bowesock and Anderson, 5th was Adams andKeyes; 6th was Wilson and McNeely and tail was the #44t
Chad got out to big lead from the get go...first caution came out for the #32 and the #44 in turn 4..
Chad started getting into lap traffic with Brent Mullins right on his tail.....Chad cleanly lapped four cars and went on to cross the line to take the checkered with Mullins, Boylard, Moore, Bowesox, Timmons and Keyes following him....

In the street stock there were twenty cars and three heats..
heat one the first caution came out for JR Dunlap and Dugger who got tangled and crashed in turn one..while that was happening the #40, the #94 and the #41 all crashed coming out of turn two..the #41, the #79 , and the #40 all went off the track....
the #75 of Dugger pulls off.. only three were left to cross the line.... Tim Feldhake took first, Rinehart took 2nd and Simmons took third...
heat two the #43 of Wheat and the #78 of Bobby Wilkins started on front row with the #81 and the #11 of Beckham on second row, third row was the #8 and #898 of Jerry Anderson...
first caution came out for the #78 of Bobby Wilkins who spun out going into turn four..hits the tire..a lot of front end damage to car...stays in race but goes to tail.... MJ Wheat crosses over first with Jerry Anderson, Beckham, Wilkins, #81 and the #8
heat three Bible and McKinney was on front row with Griffith and Lodkee on second row.. the #64 and the #8 1/2 on third row..
Josh Griffith won the heat with Devin McKinney crossing 2nd, #8 1/2, Bible, Lodekee, and the #64
In the feature Feldhake and Wheat was on front line with Griffith and Rinehart starting 2nd row, Anderson and McKinney on 3rd row, #94 and Beckham 4th, 8 1/2 and #75, then Lodekee and the #81, then the #8 and #64 and tail was JR Dunlap
the #78 of Wilkins pulls off on the first lap with it looked like a flat tire...
caution comes out for the #43 of Wheat and the #8 1/2..... Feldhake and Rinehart was putting on a good battle up in front with Griffith and McKinney close behind...
caution out for #;75 and #11L
the #64 hit the wall hard coming out of turn one
8 1/2 pulls off track
the #94 spins coming out of turn three
the #11L spins coming out of turn 2..he pulls off
the #01c of Rinehart spins around in turn two but keeps on going but ends up losing it and a caution comes out..he pulls off.........#75 spins on restart..............#94 spins trying to pass 8....#94 pulls off with two to go.......Feldhake wins with Josh Griffith 2nd, Jerry Anderson, Devin McKinney, #8, Bible, #81 and #75

In the hornets there were 14 cars....two heats
heat one Rick Crane got out to an early lead and stayed there til the finish with Mike Perry crossing second and the #11 crossing third
heat two Lynn Lash won with Morrison second and Heath Sharp third...
In the feature Rick Crane and Lynn Lash started on front row with Perry and Morrison on second row..
Rick was looking good and then started falling back.... he had to pull off and his car started smoking..looked like it was going to catch on fire.....
Feature ended with the #54 of Morrison winning, Mike Perry #1p taking second and Lynn Lash taking third....

After the races we went down to the Kinder #22 pit area..... was nice to see Chad again and Will, Eric, Don, Joe, and Dennis............. had fun talking with all of them..
Got to talk with Randy McNeely and Greg Burkett.......Wow...how Ethan has grown ...he is such a clown !!! got to see Ratley and lil Jim.... Randy said he has been keeping real busy between racing and going to baseball games to watch his son Braden.........lil Jim said he has been real busy with work but is hoping to get back to racing sometime...
Devin McKinney told me that he is planning on taking next year off.... he is in process of buying a home... I hate to hear this.........but...........it is understandable ...... hoping he will be back real soon.... will just have to enjoy him extra this year...

Hoping to see all of you again soon....maybe next weekend and am hoping I will feel up to getting back into the pit area soon......miss getting them interviews...

Bill Dugger was driving the white number75 sat night at clay county and he finished fourth in the heat and eighth in the feature hopefully he will be back in his blue and yellow 75 next week its been in the reapir shop for two weeks.
