Randle is from Clfity, Kentucky.... He started racing in the street stock and pro stock division in 1988 and went on to race the modified.
He runs the #182 with a S & M Chassi and a Branon Motor.
He said he gives his dad Gilbert who also raced the credit for inspiring him to race.
He told me he had been influenced by several different people along his journey in racing but Doyle Knight is one person that stands out.... Thanks Doyle..
If you want to watch him race you can find him at Clarksville, Tennessee..
He told me he felt it took a lot of dedication plus a lot of money to be a good driver.
Randle said his toughest competitor is Jimmy Owens..
Of his long term goal he siad that whatever happens happens...He just wants to have fun and when it quits being fun he will quit............
His most memorable event was qualifing at the Bristol in 2000... ***wow...I would think so...great job Randle***
When asked if he would change anything about racing if he could...... he said.that the cost of racing was getting out of hand.... That there should be a tire rule and a limitation on motor size...... Said we are losing a lot of drivers and is also causing some that would be potential drivers not to go into racing....
His crew chief is Chris Hancock and crew member helping him is Kenny Brown...
He said he would like to thank his wife Karen for all her help and support..his son, Chris and daughter Daphney...........and to that little grandbaby Ryan Taylor..
Thankyou very much Randle for the interview ... enjoyed talking with you .. I was told you were one of the good guys from Billy Egeler....
Hope to catch you racing at Clarksville, Tennessee some time... you just never know where you will find me...
Goodluck with your season!!!
