James Burrell is 32 years old and lives in Blufford, Illinois with his wife Dee and son Dylan..
He runs the #10B crate late model with a Forward Permance Race Cars Chassi and a 604 Crate Engine..

James told me that he started his racing career at age 23 in the steel block late model division...He a race a couple of times in 2006 in the CARS Series but this really is considered his first year of actually running with them...

I asked James what inspired him to start racing and he told me that he just liked the sport....

The driver that he most admires is "Mr Smooth"....Billy Moyer..

To be a good driver James says you have to be smooth...................

His goal in racing is to win races and to have fun doing it.....

When asked who his toughest competitor was he told me without hesitation......ALL OF THEM...

He said he was satisified with the way the racing organization was.... would not at this time change anything..

He says that he wants to be able to run competitively everytime he goes out on the track....

On whether he likes the high groove or the low groove he said he will race wherever it works for him...he can race both.... He does however like a dry slick track over a tacky one...

His Team consists of Dee, Dylan and Shawn...Don and Sam...

He said he would like to give a big thanks out to everyone who has supported him through the years of racing...............and a special thanks to Forward Racing "Race McMahon"...

Thanks for giving me time for the interview James ... was really nice to meet you...goodluck this year..
