Ryan Dauber is 30 years and and single...He lives in Tonica, Illinois
Ryan has two late models...one is a Rocket and the other is a CJ Rayburn... one has a Cornet Engine and the other has a ProPower Engine..
When asked how he came up with the #64 he never elaborated but said it just kind of fell in....a "superstition"................hmm.. I will have to find out more about this sometime....
He claims LaSalle as his hometrack ... His favorite tracks to run is both LaSalle and Kankakee..
He told me he started racing at the age of 22 years old and went right into a late model..
I asked Ryan what had inspired him to start racing.... He told me that he first raced motorcycles and got hurt to many times....said his dad wanted him to get into something safer........
I asked him what driver he most admired and he told me "the one that wins".....
HIs toughest competitor he told me was the guy in front of him....
To be a good driver he said you need to have a lot of persistence and NEVER GIVE UP....
I asked if he had a goal ............it is TO WIN!!!!
The thing he would like to see in racing change is the COST....
His highlight or what is most important to him is to keep the fans coming out to the track....says you have to have the fans.....
When I asked high groove or low groove or dry slick or tacky.........he told me where ever and what ever works...
His Crew Chief is Randy Courtney and Crew Members are Chris Payne and Steve Elwell
He wanted to make sure he gave a special thanks to his sponsors and to his fans and also his family..and mom Kathryn and dad Bill...
Ryan I have tried finding you at many tracks...Eldora and Kankakee and could not find you.... so glad I finally ran you down.... was a pleasure to meet you... goodluck with the upcoming season...
