This is our new website we have been working on. It's definitely a work in progress, but got a lot of the basic things on it. Swing by and take a look. If there is anything else you would like to see. Sign the guestbook and let us know. We will be working on it a little bit here and there.

Thanks,

Jim & Wendy

Thought I would add some pics to show the car for 2007. Wish we could finally get to race it.

CHARLESTON SPEEDWAY
MAY 17, 2008

Jim Cross,jr is 31 years old and lives in Ashmore, Illinois with his wife Wendy and daughter Chelsey...
Chelsey is 12 years old and she sometimes helps Jim with his pill draw...

Jim runs the #25c hornet... It is a Cavalier and he runs a 2.4 motor...
The reason for his car number has a double meaning.... it is the age Jim started racing and is also the day Chelsey was born..

He claims Charlston as his hometrack and also his favorite to run....

He started racing street stocks at age 25 and this is his fifth year in the hornet..

I asked Jim what had inspired him to start racing and he told me it was his dad... he grew up watching his dad race...........his dad retired for twenty years and when Jim,jr started racing his dad started again too..

The driver that Jim most admires is Denny Schwartz...

The driver that he deems his toughest competitor has been Joey Smyzer...

To be a good driver Jim says you have to have a lot of patience and a good mechanic like his dad to keep the car going...

His goal in racing is to win the Track Championship at Charleston...

A racing highlight for Jim in racing is the time he gets to spend with his friends and his dad... He really enjoys the comradery..

He likes to race the high groove on a dry slick track..

His Crew Chief is his dad Jim Sr and Team Member is Cory Rennels..

Jim wanted to give a special thanks out to his wife Wendy and to Chelsey......Cory Rennels and to his dad Jim,Sr...

Jim....we finally get to meet.... so glad we did.......I really enjoyed talking with you and hope to see you race again......
Thankyou for being a member of my site.. I value your participation and do count you as one of my friends...
