Jared Bailey is 21 years old and lives in Heltonville, Indiana... He is single..
Jared runs the #24 modified with a Lightning Chassi and a Terry Cummings Engine..

He claims Brownstown Speedway as his home track and his favorite track to run is North Vernon...

He told me he got his #24 from his dad Denny Bailey...Denny raced a late model at Brownstown...Jared told me his father is deceased...

Jared told me he started his racing career in a bomber at the age of 17 and went into the modified division two years ago..

He told me he was inspired to start racing by his dad Denny... He also told me that the driver he most admired was his dad...

When I asked Jared what he thought it took to be a good driver I found him to be quite witty.... smile.gif ..He answered with, "I have no clue.......if you find out would you let me know."..

His goal in racing is to one day race a late model ...

I asked Jared who his toughtest competitor had been and he told me that everyone is tough..

I always ask the drivers if they have anything in racing that they would like to see changed.. He told me no that he was pretty much satisfied..

I asked Jared what one thing in his racing career stood out for him as a Highlight of his career.... he told me that the last race his father attended with him before he passed away he won the Feature....

He likes to run the high groove on a dry slick track...

Jared pretty much is a one man crew....

He wanted to give his mom Susie a big thankyou for her support...

Jared it was a real pleasure to get to meet you... You are quite a nice young man..

Your dad is your Crew Chief I believe and he has to be very proud of the man you are....

Jared Bailey is 23 years and single.. He lives in Bedford, Indiana..

Jared runs the #24 modified with a Larry Shaw chassi and a Travis Kerns Racing Engine..
The reason behind his #24: he said his Uncle Lester Bailey used it, passed it on to his dad Denny... and now passed down to him...

Jared considers Brownstown, Indiana his hometrack but his favorite track to run is Florence , Kentucky...

He started his racing career at age 18 in the bomber division...He went into a modified in 2004.....**a week after his father passed away**

He gives credit to his dad Denny for inspiring him to start racing...

The driver that he most admired : he said there were too many for him to just name one...

His toughest competition in raing has been MATT BEX...

When I asked Jared what he thought it took to be a good driver...he answered with "I don't know...then added ...patience and being smooth..... .

He like so many others when asked if there is anything in racing they feel needs changed........ "the cost"....

His goal in racing is win the track points at Brownstown, Indiana...

The Racing Highlight that stands out for Jared was the last race that his dad attended with him when he won the feature in the bombers.....

Jared likes to race the high groove on a dry slick track....

His Crew consists of himself and his two cousins: Robin and Trent Bailey...

Jared wanted to give a special thanks to Terry Cummings and to Travis Kerns...

Thankyou so much Jared for the interview..Was really nice to meet you....I am sorry you had to go through the loss of your dad at such a young age... one thing for sure...you know he is riding with you every time you go out on that track...
