Matt runs the #31 modified with a Bob Pierce Chassi and a Terry Cummings Engine
Matt claims Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana as his home track..
His favorite track to run is Vermilion Co Speedway in Danville, Illinois
Matt started his racing career in 1997 in the go carts..... He started racing in a modified five years ago..
I asked Matt what got him inspired to start racing and he told me that his neighbor raced go carts and it got him interested in trying it himself...
I asked him what driver he most admired and he told me Shannon Babb and Chad Kinder...
Matt feels that it takes a lot of Patience to become a good driver....
When I asked if he had a goal he told me it was just to have fun.....
I asked him who he feels is his toughest competitor... He told me everyone he races against...
He told me that the one thing he thinks that needs to be changed in racing is the tire rule...
The highlight in Matts career that stands out for him is winning a Memorial race at Kamp Speedway for $1000 two years ago..
Matt likes to run the high groove on a dry sllick track....
