Matt Miller is 35 years old and lives in Whitelhouse, Ohio with his wife Sandra and two boys Kyle and Nathan.
He runs the #7 late model with a masterbilt chassi and a Russell Baker engine

Matt told me he started racing at the age of 5 years old in quarter midgets....
Matt started racing late models in 1990... He never ran in the modified division..

He told me that he had been involved in racing from a very young age... Racing has always been in his family..

The driver that he most admires is "Mr Smooth" Billy Moyer...

When I asked Matt what he thought it took to be a good driver he told me that it took all kind of things.... he said you need brains.... you need talent and you need money..... I told him that the number one answer was patience..... He said...well that is true..but..... sometimes you have to know when to be a little more aggressive..

A goal of his is to win the World 100...........and just to win as many races as he can..

When asked who his toughest competitor was he said that when he had first started racing it most diffinately was Chub Frank who he deems a good friend.... but says there are several tough drivers..

When asked if there was anything in racing that he felt needed to be changed he told me that the payoffs need to be better for the races... He said he did not want to see the brunt of the cost land on the fans making admission prices higher or etc..... He said that he felt it was the promoters job to do everything necessary to promote their races and their tracks to draw more money from sponsors and advertisers..

The highlight in Matt's career that stands out is winning the 2005 Eldora Speedway $100,000 Dream Race..

Matt doesn't care whether he races the high or the low groove... says whatever it takes.....
He does like a dry slick track...

His crew chief is Scott Smith...

Wanted to give a special thanks out to his car owners Steve McCullough and Denny Thornton...

His website is: http://www.mattmiller7.com
