Tim Reynolds is 39 years old and lives in Boswell, Indiana.. He has two children Travis and Larissa..

Tim considers Kamp Motor Speedway his home track and also his favorite to run on..

He runs the #40r modified with a Wilson Chassi and a Faurote Engine

He told me that he had no certain reason for his number on his car..

He started out his racing career at age 15 in outlaw late model

Tim started racing in the modified division in 1994.

He told me that he was inspired to start racing because of his dad Maurice and his brother Mike...He had always been around racing growing up.

When asked what driver he admired most he told me Bob Pierce and Rodger Long...

He told me that he believes to be a good driver you have to have a lot of common sense AND a lot of desire..You have to want to do it...

He told me his goal in racing would be to win the UMP National Points Championship..

I asked him who he considered his toughest competitor and he told me Jesse Cramer

The Racing Highlight that stands out for Tim is winning the track championship at Kamp last year (2005)

Tim likes racing the High Groove and he doesn't care whether it is on dry slick or a tacky track..

His crew chief is his father Maurice and team members are Don and Madalene..

He wanted to give a special thankyou to Pat Cooksey Trucking and o Don Pleasant....

Tim... I am glad to finally get to meet you.... I have tried to catch up to you before but kept missing you..thankyou for gving some of your time for the interview... Really enjoyed talking with you and meeting your dad Maurice...

Hope to see you race again soon.... Goodluck this year...

Tim and I purchased a Pierce mod with a couple of weeks to go yhis year and think the car is really fine. It ran really well and we can't wait to get started next year. If the weather is decent we should be at Madisonville, Ky. in March. Only got about 3 races on our new motor so it should be ready to go. If not, I plan on having a spare built by start time. These Pierce cars seem to run better than most under any conditions so we shall find out as soon as spring comes around again.
