Ryan Thomas is 27 years old now and he and Heather live in Martinsville, Indiana with their beloved "Gretchen" who is their spoiled and I mean spoiled doggie....
Ryan originally comes from Trafalgar, Indiana....
Ryan and Heather now own their own business.......he is designer and builder of the "Diamond Chassi"... His company is called R H Fabrications..
His engine is a K Motion Racing Engine
Last year Ryan ran the #0 but this year he is back to his familiar number #T9...
The driver he has a lot of respect for is Denny Schwartz... he said that everything Denny has he has had to work for....
His goal in racing..........and you have to say this is a team effort .... Heather is 100% involved in all that Ryan does......talking to one is like talking to both of them... they are the cutest couple....
.....the goal for the two of them is to make their business R H FABRICATIONS a big success............. they said they are giving it their all..............
When I asked who his toughest competitor was he told me that it depended on what night it was...........he said that some nights it is himself...
Racing highlight for him was winning the 2007 Kamp Motor Speedway Track Champion....
He use to prefer the low groove but now likes to run the high side.... he still however likes to run on a dry slick track...
Heather was writing the interview down for me and where it said CREW CHIEF she put her name and then added (ha ha)............but I wouldn't laugh..... I think she is a great crew chief....
As always Ryan and Heather.... I loved talking with the two of you...........and Gretchen too..... I hope to run into you again soon.... you two always make me smile..

Ryan Thomas is twentyfour years old and is married to Heather... They live in Martinsville, Indiana.
Ryan runs the #T9 modified with a Bob Pierce Chassi and a 406 Chevy Engine..
The reason for his car number...... He said when he got the car it was #49.. he said he took off the 4 and added the T and it has stayed that way...
Ryan told me that he started his racing career in a street stock at the age of sixteen and went into a modifed in year 2001..
He said he was inspired to start racing by his father... I asked if his father had raced and he told me no.. He said they both enjoyed racing and one day his dad came home and said, "Let's go racing" and that was the start of his career..
Ryan told me the driver he most admires is Don Oneal..
He said that his toughest competitors has been Jesse Cramer and Ray Humphrey..
He considers both Bloomington and Brownstown as his hometracks and his favorite to run is Brownstown..
Ryan feels to be a good racecar driver ............."it takes a lot of time and a lot of effort...AND... lots of seat time...
His goal is to be able to race three to four nights a week and run for the points .... He said he wants to be the guy to beat....
When asked if there was anything he would like to change in racing he said " The Cost".....
He likes running the Low Groove and a dry slick track...
His Crew Chief is Ricky Lucas and his team consists of himself, Ricky and his wife Heather..
He said he would like to give his wife a special thanks for all of her support and to Bob Pierce..Said Bob is a great guy... always there to help when you have a question..
Ryan... I am really glad I got to meet you.... Please keep your attitude.. you are very easy to talk with. I really enjoyed talking with you.... Goodluck this season and hope to see you race again soon...
