Rick is forty years old and is married to Krystal and they have one child Courtney. They live in York, Pa.
He runs the #24 late model with a Rocket Chassi and a Cornett engine
He like most the late model drivers travel too much to call any one track thier home... He also told me that he has no favorite track...
Rick started racing at the age of fifteen in "figure 8" races.. He started racing the late model in 1984.
He told me that hs father, Junior and his grandfather both raced..
When I asked him what driver he most admired he told me his dad...
When I asked him what he thought it took to be a good driver he told me there were a lot of things.. He said you need a good team.... you need skill.... and you have to have patience...
When asked if he had a goal he told me no...Was happy with what he is doing..
I asked him who his toughest competitor was and he told me they all were tough..
And when I asked him if there was anything in racing he would change if he could..... he laughed and told me there was not enough time to even start telling me what he would change...... He left it at that...
The Highlight that stands out for him was winning the Dream in 1999

Rick doesn't care whether he races the high or the low groove nor does he care whether he races on a dry slick or tacky track.... but he did say that it is better racing when you are on a dry slick track..
His Crew Chief is Robbie Allen and his team includes Dustin Keith
