Dennis Erb,jr is 32 yrs old and is from Carpentersville, Il..
He runs the #28 Late Model with a CJ Rayburn chassi and a Malcuit Engine
HIs wife is Michelle...
When I asked him where he called his home track he said it's wherever he races..
..I asked Dennis what his favorite track was and he told me ALL THE FAST ONES !!!
He told me that he got involved with racing because of his dad... HIs dad Dennis,sr also raced in the Late Model division... his number was #26 so Dennis said he picked one close to that being the #28....
When asked what driver he admired the most he told me ' SCOTT BLOOMQUIST".. said he thought Scott was a very smart driver...
Dennis said he also feels that Patience is very important in being a good driver... He also added that you have to have the ability to LEARN...
I asked him if he had a GOAL and he told me it was to win every night out...to be the best ...
When asked who his toughest competitor was he told me they were all tough..
Dennis said when asked if there was anything that he would change in racing if he could he told me the cost....
What stands out to him in his career was winning the Rookie Of the Year at the "Hava Tampa Series" in 1999...
When asked his preferance over high groove or low groove.... he said, "whatever works".............He likes a dry slick track..
He is his own crew chief and has help from Heather
