Ted Loomis is 37 years old and is from Kingston, Illinois... He runs the #23 Late Model with a GRT chassi and a Rhyne motor..

Ted told me that he started racing in 1992 in the sportsman division at Santa Fe Speedway

He told me what had inspired him to start racing was his father "Jim Loomis".. His father had race in the sportsman division as well as Late Model .. He told him his dad is his inspiration..

He told me that he mainly races at Bozwell and at Kankakee..

When I asked him what he thought it took to be a good driver he told me he thought it was very important to be able to set your own car up as well as drive it... he told me he does both...

He told me that his toughest competitor is Frank Reuber...

He told me that his long term goal is to win a really big race..

Ted's most memorable event so far was making the "World 100 and the Dream

I asked him if there was anything in racing that he would change if he could he told me that he was pretty much satisfied with the way things are...

His crew chief is Jerry Brown and John Daniels is on his Team...

He told me he loves to run the High Groove and he like Dry Slick tracks...

Ted... thankyou for giving me some of your time.... you put on a good show for all of us.... hope to see you race again...
